Introduction
The physical computing course is aimed towards returning students who have a passion and desire for coding interactive applications. In this course, students will further develop their Scratch coding skills and be taught advanced Scratch techniques in order to translate physical components into a software system. Students will be taught to interact with BitBlock and D-Play technology using Scratch as a medium of programming.
Objectives
After this course student will be able to:
- Comfortably adopt Scratch as their main programming language
- Code using Scratch at an advanced and comprehensive level
- Have a fundamental understanding of physical computing
- Understand the basic functions of components of BitBlock and D-Play
- Apply the concepts and principles of physical computing to produce their own interactive system
